Getting started
Connect your CRM/ERP
Open the add-in in Outlook and go to Settings > Integration, pick your platform and sign in — OAuth2, an access token or an API key depending on the CRM. A connection test tells you at once whether it went through.
Let MailBridge find the record
Open any email and MailBridge looks up the sender among your contacts and accounts, picking up a deal or ticket already mentioned in the subject.
Archive in one click
Pick the record — contact, account, deal, ticket or one of your own modules — choose whether to keep the full thread and the attachments, and archive. An email already filed offers to link the existing record instead of creating a duplicate.
Search and create without leaving Outlook
Search your CRM by category and field, or create a linked record straight from the pane, prefilled from the email you have open.
Choose which modules show up
MailBridge reads your CRM schema, custom modules included, from Settings > Integration > Discover schema — you decide which ones appear, in what order, and which can receive an archived email. On platforms that support it, one person's setup can be shared with the rest of the team instead of everyone repeating the discovery — see the Schema Share module below for Sugar.

Sugar
Connecting to Sugar
Sign in from Settings > Integration with your usual Sugar username and password — MailBridge uses Sugar's own OAuth2 login. The first time anyone on your team connects, an administrator needs to allow the mailbridge API platform under Admin > Configure API Platforms; installing any of the modules below does that automatically.
Optional companion modules
Three small modules an administrator can install on your Sugar instance from Admin > Module Loader — upload the package, then Install. Each solves one specific problem: install any combination of them, or none.
CORS module
If Sugar rejects calls made straight from the browser, install this module to allow them from the add-in's own domain. Without it, MailBridge falls back to the small desktop app bundled with the add-in, which relays the calls from your machine instead and needs nothing changed on the Sugar side.
SSO module
If your Sugar sign-in is federated through an identity provider — Okta, Azure AD, ADFS, Google Workspace and the like — install this module so your team signs in through a Sugar session already open in the browser, with no username or password typed in the pane. Turn it on with the SSO checkbox on the add-in's login screen.
Schema Share module
Lets one colleague's CRM Discover setup — the modules and relations MailBridge shows — be shared with the rest of the team instead of everyone repeating the discovery by hand. Once installed, Settings > Integration > Discover schema offers "Share my configuration" and "Retrieve a colleague's configuration".
Odoo
Connecting to Odoo
Sign in from Settings > Integration with your Odoo username and an API key — generate one from your user's Preferences > Account Security > API Keys, not your account password. A single Odoo server can host several databases, so also enter the database name your company runs on; your administrator can confirm it if you are not sure.
